About GDPR: The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European Union (EU) regulation that governs data protection and privacy for individuals within the EU and the European Economic Area (EEA). This page explains how Yolopment IT Solution complies with GDPR requirements.

At Yolopment IT Solution, we are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy rights. This GDPR Compliance page outlines how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and your rights as a data subject.

1. Our Commitment to GDPR

We are committed to ensuring that your personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR requirements. This includes:

  • Transparency about how we collect and use your personal data
  • Implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data
  • Respecting your rights as a data subject
  • Only processing personal data when we have a lawful basis to do so
  • Ensuring data minimization and purpose limitation

2. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following lawful bases under GDPR:

2.1 Consent

We process your personal data when you have given clear consent for us to process it for specific purposes, such as:

  • Marketing communications
  • Newsletter subscriptions
  • Cookie preferences

You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

2.2 Contract Performance

We process your personal data when it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

2.3 Legal Obligation

We process your personal data when it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject.

2.4 Legitimate Interests

We process your personal data when it is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party, provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

3. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:

3.1 Right of Access (Article 15)

You have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not we process your personal data and, if we do, to access that data and receive certain information about how we process it.

How to exercise: Submit a request to privacy@yolopment.com

3.2 Right to Rectification (Article 16)

You have the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected and incomplete personal data completed.

3.3 Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") (Article 17)

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when:

  • The data is no longer necessary for the original purpose
  • You withdraw consent and there is no other lawful basis
  • The data has been unlawfully processed
  • The data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation

3.4 Right to Restrict Processing (Article 18)

You have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when you contest the accuracy of the data or object to processing.

3.5 Right to Data Portability (Article 20)

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller.

3.6 Right to Object (Article 21)

You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes or when processing is based on legitimate interests.

3.7 Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making (Article 22)

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

3.8 Right to Withdraw Consent

When we process your personal data based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

4. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of your GDPR rights, please:

  1. Contact us at privacy@yolopment.com
  2. Clearly specify which right you wish to exercise
  3. Provide sufficient information to verify your identity
  4. Include any relevant details about your request

We will respond to your request within one month. If your request is complex or we receive multiple requests, we may extend this period by up to two additional months, and we will inform you of any such extension.

5. Data Protection Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • Encryption: Data in transit and at rest is encrypted
  • Access Controls: Limited access to personal data on a need-to-know basis
  • Regular Security Assessments: Periodic reviews and updates of our security measures
  • Staff Training: Regular training for employees on data protection
  • Data Minimization: We only collect and process data that is necessary
  • Retention Policies: We only retain data for as long as necessary

6. Data Transfers

If we transfer your personal data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission
  • Other appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR

7. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach.

We will also notify the relevant supervisory authority (the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK or the relevant authority in your country) of any data breach that poses a risk to individuals' rights and freedoms.

8. Data Protection Officer

While we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO) under GDPR, we have designated a privacy contact person to handle data protection matters. You can contact our privacy team at privacy@yolopment.com.

9. Supervisory Authority

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your personal data or respond to your requests, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For EU residents, this is typically the data protection authority in your country of residence.

For UK residents, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

10. Children's Data

Our services are not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
